Winchester | Model 94AE XTR | .30-30 Winchester | Ducks Unlimited Canada 50th Anniversary Commemorative | One of 1,400 The Winchester Model 94AE XTR Ducks Unlimited Canada 50 Years of Conservation Commemorative is a limited-edition lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ducks Unlimited Canada, founded in 1938. Dating to approximately 1988, this special-edition rifle combines Winchester's legendary Model 94 lever-action design with distinctive wildlife-themed receiver decoration, contrasting metal finishes, and commemorative markings. The Model 94 Angle Eject (AE) configuration incorporates a modified ejection system designed to accommodate receiver-mounted optics more readily than the earlier top-eject design. This example features a 20" barrel, traditional hardwood stock and forearm, and distinctive matte stainless-colored receiver, lever, and both barrel bands. The left side of the receiver displays a duck's head surrounded by clouds, accompanied by the inscriptions “Ducks Unlimited Canada” and “50 Years of Conservation.” The right side of the receiver features a detailed forest scene depicting a buck and two does. An inset Ducks Unlimited Canada commemorative medallion is located on the right side of the wooden buttstock. The right side of the barrel, immediately forward of the receiver, bears the inscription “One of Fourteen Hundred,” identifying this rifle as part of a limited commemorative production of 1,400 examples. The rifle retains traditional iron sights, including a front blade and buckhorn-style rear sight, along with the familiar lever-action operation and tubular magazine system of the Winchester Model 94.
