Keystone Sporting Arms | Crickett Mini Mosin Nagant | .22 LR | Single-Shot Bolt-Action Rifle The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett Mini Mosin Nagant is an American-made, single-shot, bolt-action rimfire rifle designed as a scaled-down tribute to the historic Mosin-Nagant military rifle. Combining the distinctive appearance of a classic military surplus rifle with the simplicity of the Crickett single-shot action, the Mini Mosin offers a unique addition to the modern rimfire market. Manufactured by Keystone Sporting Arms in Pennsylvania, the Mini Mosin Nagant draws its inspiration from the famous Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30, a bolt-action military rifle widely associated with Imperial Russia and the Soviet Union. Originally developed in 1891, the Mosin-Nagant became one of the most extensively produced military rifles in history, serving through both World Wars and numerous conflicts throughout the 20th century. The Crickett Mini Mosin Nagant recreates the recognizable profile of the military rifle in a compact .22 Long Rifle configuration. Its traditional wood stock, 20" blued barrel, and military-inspired styling provide an appearance reminiscent of the original Mosin-Nagant while utilizing Keystone's lightweight, single-shot rimfire action. The rifle features a manually operated bolt action with a single-round capacity, providing a straightforward loading and firing system. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction distinguish it from full-size military surplus rifles. Equipped with adjustable open rifle sights, the Mini Mosin retains a traditional sighting arrangement consistent with its military-inspired appearance. The rifle also incorporates a two-position crossbolt safety. Despite its 20" barrel, the Mini Mosin measures approximately 33.625" overall and weighs just 2 pounds, 8 ounces, making it considerably smaller and lighter than the original military rifle that inspired its design. The combination of classic military styling, American manufacture, and a compact single-shot rimfire action makes the Mini Mosin Nagant an interesting firearm for collectors of military-inspired rifles and unusual .22-caliber firearms.
