Canik | METE SFT ONE | 9mm | Optics Ready | Matte Black The Canik METE SFT ONE is a modern, striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, combining the proven design of Canik's METE series with a streamlined factory configuration. Manufactured in Turkey by Canik, the METE series was developed with an emphasis on ergonomics, reliability, and practical shooting performance. The METE SFT ONE features a 4.46" barrel, matte black finish, and a textured black polymer frame. Its full-size configuration provides a comfortable grip and generous sight radius while maintaining a relatively lightweight design. One of the pistol's notable features is its optics-ready slide, machined to accommodate compatible miniature red dot sights using the Shield RMS/RMSc footprint. This allows the pistol to be configured with an electronic optic while retaining its traditional iron-sight arrangement. The pistol is equipped with fixed three-dot white sights, providing a familiar sight picture for recreational and defensive shooting applications. Its striker-fired action incorporates Canik's characteristic trigger design, while the undercut trigger guard allows for a higher grip position. The METE SFT ONE also features an ergonomically contoured polymer frame, textured gripping surfaces, and a streamlined control layout. With an overall length of approximately 7.5" and an unloaded weight of 27.9 ounces, the pistol offers a balance of full-size handling characteristics and manageable weight. This example is chambered in 9mm Luger and includes one factory 18-round magazine, providing an 18+1-round capacity.
