Shadow Systems | CR920 Elite | 9mm | Optics Ready | Black Nitride The Shadow Systems CR920 Elite is an American-made, striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, designed to combine the compact dimensions of a concealed-carry handgun with the enhanced features and refinements associated with Shadow Systems' Elite series. Manufactured by Shadow Systems in Plano, Texas, the CR920 was introduced in 2022 as the company's subcompact concealed-carry platform. The CR920 Elite builds upon this design with upgraded slide machining, an optics-ready configuration, and a number of performance-oriented features. This example features a black nitride-finished Elite slide with distinctive directional serrations and an optics-ready cut, allowing the installation of compatible miniature red dot sights. The pistol is equipped with a 3.41" spiral-fluted black barrel with a 1-in-10" twist rate. The CR920 Elite utilizes a black polymer frame with textured gripping surfaces and a flat-faced aluminum trigger. Its compact dimensions, measuring approximately 6.54" in overall length and weighing 17.8 ounces, make it a lightweight and easily carried subcompact handgun. The pistol is fitted with a green tritium front night sight and black rear sight, providing a high-visibility front sighting reference. The CR920 Elite also incorporates internal safety mechanisms without an external manual safety. This example includes two factory magazines, consisting of one 13-round extended magazine and one 10-round flush-fit magazine, providing two grip and capacity configurations.
