Taurus | PT111 Millennium Pro | 9mm Luger | Semi-Automatic Pistol The Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, manufactured by Forjas Taurus S.A. of Brazil. Developed as part of Taurus's Millennium series, the PT111 Millennium Pro was designed to provide a compact, lightweight handgun suitable for concealed carry and personal defense, combining a polymer frame with a steel slide and a double-stack magazine configuration. The original Taurus Millennium series was introduced in the late 1990s, with the improved Millennium Pro series appearing in the early 2000s. The Pro models incorporated refinements to the grip design, trigger system, and overall ergonomics. These changes helped distinguish the Millennium Pro pistols from their earlier counterparts and contributed to the series' popularity during the 2000s. The PT111 Millennium Pro utilizes a short-recoil-operated, locked-breech action with a striker-fired ignition system. Its compact frame incorporates molded grip texturing and finger grooves, while the double-stack magazine design provides greater ammunition capacity than many similarly sized single-stack pistols of its era.
