Taurus | Model 513 Raging Judge Magnum | .454 Casull / .45 Colt / .410 Magnum | 3" Stainless Revolver The Taurus Model 513 Raging Judge Magnum is a large-frame, double-action/single-action revolver developed to combine the versatility of the original Taurus Judge with the heavy-duty construction of the company's Raging-series revolvers. Introduced around 2010, the Raging Judge Magnum expanded the Judge concept to accommodate three distinct ammunition types: .454 Casull, .45 Colt, and 3" .410 Magnum shotshells. Unlike the standard five-shot Taurus Judge, the Model 513 Raging Judge Magnum features a substantially larger frame and a six-round cylinder designed to handle the powerful .454 Casull cartridge. Originally developed in the late 1950s and commercially introduced in the 1990s, the .454 Casull is a high-pressure revolver cartridge known for its considerable power. Its inclusion distinguishes the Raging Judge Magnum from conventional .45 Colt/.410 revolvers. The Model 513 also features a 3" Magnum-length cylinder, allowing the use of both 2½" and 3" .410 shotshells. This expanded ammunition compatibility makes the Raging Judge Magnum one of the more unusual multi-caliber revolvers produced by Taurus. The revolver incorporates Taurus's distinctive dual cylinder-locking system, with locking points at both the front and rear of the cylinder for added support. Its cushioned rubber grip with a red recoil-absorbing backstrap is another recognizable feature of the Raging series, designed to help manage the recoil generated by powerful handgun cartridges. This example features a 3" barrel, matte stainless steel finish, fiber-optic front sight, and fixed rear sight. Its substantial construction, oversized cylinder, and distinctive Raging-series styling give it a commanding appearance.
