Bryco Arms / Jennings Firearms | Model 38 | .32 Auto | Semi-Automatic Pistol The Bryco Arms / Jennings Firearms Model 38 is a compact American-made semi-automatic pistol chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning). Produced by Bryco Arms, a California-based firearms manufacturer associated with the Jennings family of pistols, the Model 38 was part of a generation of inexpensive, compact handguns marketed throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Bryco and Jennings were closely related manufacturers, with their firearms becoming recognizable examples of the economical American pocket pistols of that era. The Model 38 was offered in both .32 ACP and .380 ACP and utilized a straightforward blowback-operated action, fixed sights, and a detachable six-round magazine. Its compact dimensions and simple construction reflected Bryco's emphasis on affordable personal-defense handguns. Bryco ceased operations in 2003, making these pistols an interesting part of late-20th-century American firearms manufacturing history. This particular .32 Auto Model 38 remains in good condition with only minor edge wear. It includes two magazines, its original factory box, and paperwork, making it a nicely equipped example of this discontinued pistol.
