CVA Colonial-Style | .45 Caliber | Percussion Muzzleloading Pistol Description This .45 caliber percussion muzzleloading pistol is most consistent with a Connecticut Valley Arms (CVA) Colonial-style pistol, likely originating as a build-it-yourself black powder kit. CVA became known during the 1970s for offering traditional muzzleloading firearms in both completed and kit form. There are no visible manufacturer markings on this example, so the CVA attribution cannot be definitively confirmed. Based on its overall configuration and styling, it is most likely a CVA Colonial-style kit pistol or similar period reproduction. The pistol features a 5" octagonal barrel, wood stock, single-shot muzzleloading action, and traditional percussion-cap ignition.
